Summer Art Camps are offered to children ages 4 1/2 - 9 years, with up to 9 students per class.  Two sessions are being offered with the first session starting the week of June 14th and the second session starting the week of July 12th.  Each session runs for three weeks with students coming for three hours once a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. either on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.  Parents have the option of signing up for more than one day and for both sessions if space is available. Each class will consist of an art lesson and starting a project, time between art projects for the children to socialize while playing outside and lunchtime, and starting up or finishing up a project from the prior class.

Camps are as scheduled follows.  Note that I try not to repeat any projects with each medium from prior camps!  Some of the themes may be the same, but the shapes, patterns and colors will vary.

1st Session starts the week of 6.14.10

Tues – Clay - $150: sea pods plaque (print), sierra trout tumbler, jewelry, owl clock

Weds – Clay - $150: tumbler, modern flowers clock, jewelry, kandinsky tile (FULL)

Thurs – Watercolors - $115: hundertwasser, picasso, kandinsky, rex ray

2nd Session starts the week of 7.12.10

Tues – Clay - $150: paul klee clock, hundertwasser plaque, alphabet and numbers dish, jewelry (FULL) 

Weds – Clay - $150: vase, self-portrait clock, jewelry, little houses (FULL)

Thurs – Watercolors - $115: birds, sierra trout, b&w portrait, sea horse (FULL)

To register your child for a camp, send an email to Mary at mary_mbartstudios@yahoo.com requesting registration information.  Note that a $50 deposit is required to hold a spot for your child.  The balance of the art camp fee is payable at the 1st day of camp.
